Partners Hemispheric Convention, Nov., 2005

Partners Logo
Partners of the Americas held its 2005 International Convention in Little Rock, Arkansas November 9th to 12th at the Peabody Hotel. By mutual agreement, this blog is meant to allow chapters, individual members, and staff to express themselves on the topics covered and to exchange ideas, plans, and actions.

The Arkansas - East Bolivia Chapter has begun Partners Intercom for that purpose. Information on our Chapter is available at www.uark.edu/misc/partners/news.html. Our Board and members invite further postings from throughout the hemisphere and beyond. The main Partners website is www.partners.net.

Comments:
Bill,

Thanks very much for putting this together. You are definitely a man of action.

I heard that the next convention (2006)is in Belize. Is that easier to find than Little Rock?

Nonetheless, I have heard only good reports and enthusiasm about the LR meetings.

I shall plan to arrange my calendar for 2006.

Bill,
I applaud this effort to generate ideas and dialogue about all things that help make Partners and our activities more effective.

The Partners International Office plans to mention this blog in its next newsletter to generate traffic. We may even include a short article on the blog if specific topics for discussion are posed. For instance, the 2005 congress generated a number of issues and ideas that could further mature through the blog.

And by the way, this is my first blog experience, so thanks for getting me into it!

Rich Lamporte (Partners Int'l Office Staff)

Don't miss Louise Montgomery's minutes of the Arkansas Partners' board meeting held on November 13, at the conclusion of the Conference. See the "Conference Report" link (left column).
